Programs organized on 31st December cancelled due to awareness created by HJS


Amaravati (Maharashtra) : Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) undertook a drive to prevent malpractices taking place on 31st December night creating awareness amongst people. As a result, 20 entertainment programs organized at Murtizapur by young men and women were spontaneously cancelled. (Congratulations to the young men and women for cancelling programs arranged on 31st December night after HJS explaining the subject ! Those, who prevent attack of western culture, nurturing own culture, will hold posts of power in Hindu Nation ! – Editor SP)

1. Meetings were held at ‘Campus Point’ coaching classes, Amaravati, Chawadi Chowk at Navsari, Badnera, Bari Chowk and at Telipura, Murtizapur, Station Chowk, Paratwada, Achalpur etc. with young men and women to explain about malpractices taking place on 31st December. Every year, 3 New Year programs at Telipura, 8 large-scale programs at Balaji Chowk, Tanga Chowk, Jaystambh Chowk, Samatanagar, Morarji Chowk and 8 programs on small-scale, used to be held in which young men and women used to gather, play DJ music, consume alcohol, write New Year greetings on roads etc.  HJS activists distributed handbills on the subject, put up posters on walls and explained why New Year should not be celebrated on 31st midnight. The young organizers have since then decided to celebrate ‘Gudhi Padva’. Programs arranged at Debid, Bari Chowk, Dosti Ganesh Mandal, Prashant Ganesh Mandal, Chawdi Chowk in Badnera, Navsari and Ambagate in Amravati were also cancelled.

2. A press conference was held at Hotel Ramgiri at Amaravati which was addressed by Mr. Kiran Duse of HJS besides, Mr. Vipin Gupta of Bajarang Dal, Mr. Manav Buddhadev of ‘Yoga Vedant Seva Samiti’ and Mr. Girish Komerwar of Sanatan Sanstha.

3. The local newspapers published articles creating awareness on the subject and thus helped HJS drive.

4. Representations were submitted to police stations at Rajapeth, Gadgenagar in Amaravati, to Police Inspector (PI) Bachate at Badnera police station and PI Sonawane at Murtizapur by HJS activists and devout Hindus for prevention of malpractices taking place on 31st December and 1st January. PIs gave positive response and promised to take necessary action.

5. 3000 handbills were distributed by HJS at Badnera and Murtizapur besides Amaravati and 200 posters were put up at various places.

6. VCD of 3 minutes duration creating awareness amongst people on the subject was telecast on local channels like ‘R.C.N’ at Amaravati and ‘Surabha’ C.T. News, Achalpur thus thousands of people got to know the subject.

Your drive was a success ! – local citizens

Local citizens were quite impressed with the explanation of subject made by HJS activists. They thanked HJS activists for prevention of malpractices and expressed desire to participate in HJS activities as a result of awareness created by HJS.

On 1st January, Mr. Sunil Sharma from Murtizapur called on the cell number displayed on posters and congratulated by saying that ‘your drive has been successful’ and expressed wish to meet HJS activists.
