Kumbh Mela administration recognizing only four Shankaracharyas

Hindus expect the administration to establish Shankar Chatushpath and honourably invite Shankaracharya; it should initially take this step !

Prayagaraj (UP) : Only Shankaracharyas of four Pithas, which are established by Adi Shankaracharya have been recognized as authorised Shankaracharyas by Kumbhamela administration in the Kumbhamela 2013 held in Prayagaraj, as per the letter sent by the administration to Shankaracharya. Due to the role taken by administration, it has become clear that importance will not be given to phoney Shankaracharyas who assume the title of ‘Shankaracharya’.

The administration has not given approval to Shankar Chatushpath. (On one hand, the land of Shankar Chatushpath is refused, and on the other, recognition is given to them; the U.P. administration playing such a double game is causing treason to Hindu Dharma. The action to refuse the land is being purposefully taken by the administration even after fully realising the importance of the seat of Shankaracharya. To oppose this, all four Shankaracharyas should come together and unite Hindus to resist such an attempt by the administration ! – Editor)

The above letter has been written by Mr. Jitendra Kumar Officer in charge of Kumbhamela on behalf of the Mela administration. The letter says, “Shankaracharyas of Pithas established by Adi Shankaracharya are being allotted land and provided with all the facilities. Land has been allotted to Swami Nishchalanand Saraswati of Govardhan Puri Pith, Shankaracharya Swami Bharati Tirth of Shrungeri Pitha, Swami Swarupanand Maharaj of Sharada and Dwaraka Pitha. The issue of Jyotish Pitha is pending in court of law. Therefore, land divided in half portion each has been allotted to Shankaracharya Swami Swarupanand Saraswati and Swami Vasudevanand.

Establishment of Shankar Chatushpath by the devotees of Shankaracharya

Prayagraj (UP) : Devotees of Shankaracharya have established Shankar Chatushpath on the land of Prayagwal Sabha in the area of Kumbhamela. Shankar Chatushpath has been established in Sector 6. This information has been given to Swami Avimukteshwaranand, a disciple of Shankaracharya Swami Swarupanand Saraswati of Jyotish Pith. The worship of this Chatushpath was performed by Gopalanand Brahmachari, Sabhapati of Agni Akhada. The office bearers of Prayagwal Sabha were present on this occasion. (Hindus, to conduct an agitation to oppose the role of traitor to Hindus, government and administration, to force them to honourably allot land to Shankaracharya is the only right act as per time ! Scam like Commonwealth games in the planning of Kumbhamela : BJP

Prayagaraj (UP) : A scam like the one committed in the preparatory works of Commonwealth games has also been committed in the planning for Kumbhamela. This accusation was made by Bharatiya Janata Party. They have also demanded a high level enquiry in the entire matter. Missing Swami Paripurnanand, a disciple of Shankaracharya Swami Swarupanand Saraswati has not been located even after the lapse of 4 days. The police have distributed pamphlets carrying His photograph and information in the area of Kumbhamela. Similarly, the information will also be broadcast on radio and telecast on TV channes.

Discussions on telephone between Shankaracharya Swami Swarupanand Saraswati and the Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav

The Chief Minister of U.P. Mr. Akhilesh Yadav and his father M.P. Mr. Mulayamsinh Yadav contacted Shankaracharya Swami Swarupanand Saraswati on telephone on 4th January and held discussions with Him. Shankaracharya has boycotted Kumbhamela. Ydav father-son duo has made this contact to assuage the feelings of Shankaracharya. It is expected that Shankaracharya will participate in Kumbhamela as a result of these discussions.

Prayagaraj (UP) : The importance of Kumbhamela is known all over the world. If Shankaracharyas of all 4 Pithas are not visiting Kumbhamela on such pious occasion, it will tarnish Mela. Kumbhamela administration should find some out of this situation and establish Shankar Chatushpath. This demand was made in a meeting of Akhil Bharatiya Kurmi Kshatriya Mahasabha held in Prayag. On this occasion, National Organising Mantri of the organisation Mr. Shyamsunder Sinh Baghel, M/S Kamalesh Patel, Tarachandra Sinh, Umakant, and Mahesh Sachan were present.

Pamphlets will be printed to search Swami Paripurnanand

Prayagaraj : The whereabouts of Swami Paripurnanand, who went missing mysteriously from the venue of His fast unto death have not been traced so far. The police will print the pamphlet giving His information. This pamphlet will include the photograph of Swami and other information and will be distributed in Kumbhamela. Police have collected information from Sadhus in Akhadas and some other individuals.

Kumbh Mela : Demand for Shankar Chatushpath rejected by UP Govt. !

Prayagaraj (UP) : The U.P. Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has rejected, on 2^nd January, the demand by Jyotishpithadhishwar Shankaracharya Swami Swarupanand Saraswati to allot land for establishing Shankar Chatushpath in Kumbh Mela. He has cited lack of time as a reason behind the rejection of the demand. He was speaking with journalists on the confluence of rivers Ganga-Yamuna-Saraswati. He further stated,

1.”Kumbh Mela will begin now. In such a situation, it is impossible for any government to carry out any new changes. (Liar Yadav ! Will it be possible for him to perform something, which he does not want to perform in the first place ? In India, seekers and disciples are ready to sacrifice even their lives to obey the instructions of Saints. It is a misfortune of Hindus that individuals like Yadav are born in the nation like India ! - Editor Sanatan Prabhat)

2. Whatever is traditional for Hindus, the efforts are being made to perform the same things in proper ways.
3. The disciple of Shankaracharya, who has left Kumbh Mela met me when the land for Shankar Chatushpath was not allotted. I appealed them to participate in Kumbh Mela. I wrote a letter to Shankaracharya and also requested for His blessings. (On one hand, heap the insults on Shankaracharya, and on the other, pretend to seek his blessings. Kashi will not tolerate the insult of Shankaracharya ! – Devotees of Kashi

Varanasi (UP) : The administration of Kumbh Mela is transgressing the religious limits under pressure from Akhadas. Administration is taking decisions against the traditional system of Sanatan. The citizens of Kashi will not tolerate this. If the need arises, the disciples of Saints, Sages, and Shankaracharya will march towards Prayag and oppose the administration. The administration will not be able to control it. This warning has been issued by the devotees in Kashi. A meeting of the disciples of Shankaracharya Swami Swarupanand Saraswati, Akhil Bharatiya Dandi Sannyasi Mahasabha, and members of Kashi Vidvat Samaj was organised on 2nd January at Kedarghat. “Akhilesh Yadav should have first studied the proposal of Shankar Chatushpath to understand why we are demanding Shankar Chatushpath. Now what purpose will be served by my attending Kumbh Mela ? Since 1973, I am discharging the duties of Shankaracharya. Still, my simple request for Shankar Chatushpath was not accepted.

The officers in charge of Kumbh Mela have created this confusion. Akhilesh Yadav has fallen prey to this confusion. Such officers should be suspended. They are constantly hatching the conspiracy. Chief Minister should have at least met my disciple Swami Mukteshwaranand. Yadav did not even feel it necessary. From this, it has become clear that he did not even feel like comprehending our objectives. Another disciple, Swami Paripurnanand is missing. His whereabouts could not be still be traced. In these circumstances why should I attend Kumbh Mela when I am being insulted ? My objective is to ensure the welfare of people. I cannot tolerate injustice.”

Prayagaraj : Swami Paripurnanand who was fasting unto death for the demand of Shankar Chatushpath from 25^th December went missing since 1^st January. He is still untraceable. Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has said, ‘Search for Swami Paripurnanand is in progress.’ (Hindus’ Saint goes suddenly missing from the biggest religious festival of Hindus and cannot be traced even after 3 days is a failure of Chief Minister Yadav. This has raised a question over the security aspect of Kumbh Mela. There is no guarantee that the rulers, who fail to protect Saints will be able to protect Kumbh Mela from the attack by Jihadi terrorists. At last Sanatan Sanstha to get land in Kumbh Mela !

Prayagaraj : Land has been made available to Sanatan in Kumbh Mela. The land is situated in plot no. 25 of the sector 10, under the Shastri bridge on the Varanasi-Prayag road (Towards Prayag) where Mori road and Mukti road intersect. Shri Rasiyawale Baba, Mathura, whose land is adjacent to that of Sanatan visited the place and assured full cooperation to Sanatan mission.

Prayagaraj (UP) : A disciple of Jyotishpithadhishwar Shankaracharya Swami Swarupanand Saraswati, Swami Paripurnanand who was sitting on fast unto death for the demand of Shankar Chatushpath went mysteriously missing on the morning of 1st January. He was not traceable till the evening of 2nd January. Saints have accused the government of kidnapping Swami Paripurnanand.

Swami Paripurnanand was sitting on fast in a pandal situated at the square on the confluence of rivers Ganga-Yamuna-Saraswati in Kumbh Mela. His sudden disappearance has caused tension among the police and administration. Swami Jyotirmayanand, a disciple of Swami Paripurnanand has lodged a complaint of disappearance of Swami Paripurnanand with the local police station. The police have organised 3 squads to find the whereabouts of Swami Paripurnanand. According to police version, Swami Paripurnanand had left for taking a bath in river Ganga, in the morning, but he did not return.

Kidnapping by Police and administration ! – Charge by Swami Avimukteshwaranand

Swami Avimukteshwaranand has made a demand with the officers that Police and administration should immediately bring Swami Paripurnanand back. While charging the authorities, Swami Avimukteshwaranand said, “Impressions of boot marks appear on the seat of Swami Paripurnanand. His mace was found thrown in one corner. This proves that he was physically forced to end His fast, and he is kidnapped and taken to an unknown place.”

Mr. Aalok Sharma, Inspector General of Police and Mr. Devesh Chaturvedi, Commissioner in charge of Kumbh Mela have refuted the charge. Mr. Chaturvedi said, “Swami Paripurnanand has Himself left somewhere. The doctors monitoring His health have certified that His health was satisfactory. In such a case, why the police will abduct Him ? (Does Mr. Chaturvedi mean that if His health had deteriorated, he would have been shifted by the police ? – Editor) If He had also continued his fast on 2nd January, and His health had deteriorated, he would have been shifted to hospital.” (This means it has become clear that Swami Paripurnanand is kidnapped by the administration and police ! The administration and police were eager to break the fast undertaken by Swami Paripurnanand, and this must have caused His abduction. Demonstrations by International Brahman Mahasabha against the office of officer in charge of Kumbh Mela

Prayagaraj : International Brahman Mahasabha held demonstrations against the chaos in the management of administration in Kumbh Mela, on 1st January before the office of officer in charge of Kumbh Mela. On this occasion, the officers in charge of Kumbh Mela have been accused of corruption; similarly, they also demanded that Shankaracharya Swami Swarupanand Saraswati should be invited, and Shankar Chatushpath should be established. The President of Mahasabha Mr. Vikas Dubey warned that unless Swami Paripurnanand is searched within 24 hours, stronger agitation will be conducted.

Prayagaraj : Organisation of transporters of Prayagaraj, ‘Allahabad Goods Transport and Motor Operator Welfare Association’, expressed regret over the insulting treatment given by the administration to Shankaracharya Swami Swarupanand Saraswati. The association has also written a letter to the Prime Minister urging him to invite Shankaracharya honourably in Kumbh Mela.

Prayagaraj : The police have taken special precautions to prevent any untoward incident by the terrorists in Kumbh Mela. The police from Intelligence Wing have kept Saints, Sages, Akhadas under close observation. Lakshmanapuri : Jyotishpithadhishwar Shankaracharya Swami Swarupanand Saraswati boycotted Kumbh Mela after the administration of U.P. government for Kumbh Mela rejected His demand for establishing Shankar Chatushpath. The Chief Minister of U.P. Akhilesh Yadav has taken cognizance of this boycott. He wrote a letter to Shankaracharya. He says in the letter, “The U.P. Government will fully cooperate with Him for establishing a seat for Shankaracharya in Kumbh Mela. For this purpose, prayer is made to Shankaracharya to cooperate by bestowing His blessings.”

After the issue of this letter, the officer in charge of Kumbh Mela has maintained silence on this subject. Discussions are being held between the Union and State governments on the issue of establishing Shankar Chatushpath. Possibility of allotment of the land to Shankaracharya is being presumed. Swami Avimukteshwaranand said on this issue, “We have left everything to the government and public after the receipt of the letter from the Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav. Now the decision will be taken only by God.”

Swami Paripurnanand resorting to the fast unto death as the administration has rejected the demand for establishing Shankar Chatushpath ! His health is stated to have taken a serious turn due to forgoing the use of clothes despite severe cold !
Disciples ready to sacrifice their lives for upholding the honour of Guru are ideals ! Saints and Sages, instead of preparing themselves to sacrifice their lives should nowadays awaken Hindus against the government and administration, which is bent upon insulting Saints by creating chaos in management. This will protect Hindu Dharma as is also expected by God !

Prayagaraj : Swami Paripurnanand, disciple of Jyotishpithadhishwar Shankaracharya Swami Swarupanand Saraswati has begun fast unto death from 25^th December since the administration has rejected the demand of His Guru for establishing Shankar Chatushpath. After forgoing water and food initially, he has now abandoned his clothes in a biting cold weather. Therefore, his health has taken a serious turn, and he is even unable to speak or sit. His blood pressure has come down, and he is running a temperature. Doctors are continuously monitoring his condition.

While speaking in reference to his fast, Swami Paripurnanand said, “The action of the administration of Kumbh Mela to insult Shankaracharya Swami Swarupanand Saraswati was inappropriate. How can I partake food and water where Guru is not honoured ? I will break my fast only after Guru Swarupanand Saraswati returns to Kumbh Mela.”

It is being rumoured that Swami Paripurnanand has left for an unknown address from the location of his fast in the morning. The Police are also said to be unaware of his absence.

Gherao by Sadhus from Juna Akhada to the Assistant Officer in charge of Kumbh Mela

Prayagaraj : Sadhus from Juna Akhada resorted to Gherao of the Assistant Officer in charge of Kumbh Mela on 31st December. This action was taken for the failure on the part of administration to provide essential facilities on the sites allotted in Kumbh Mela. The Gherao was lifted only after the officers assured to provide the facilities within 24 hours. (The administration, which is Traitor to Dharma and public becomes active only after facing agitation is of no use ! – Editor Sanatan Prabhat)

Juna Akhada initially faced a lot of obstacles while procuring the land. Later on, they lodged several complaints with the administration for providing the facilities of water and power supply. Since the problems remained unsolved despite a lot of efforts, Sadhus had to resort to Gherao of the Assistant Officer in charge of Kumbh Mela Mr. S. K. Sharma, and he was brought to ‘Sector 4’. He was made aware of the mismanagement being faced there. Sadhus also warned him of stronger action if the facilities are not provided by the administration.

Devotees should remain conscious of their attire ! – Advice of the administration

Prayagaraj – Devotees visiting Kumbh Mela should remain conscious of their attire. They should appear properly dressed in view of the religious importance of Kumbh Mela. This advice was given to the devotees by the administration; however, it has not issued any list of the desired clothes or any instructions on dress code. The foreign tourists visiting Kumbh Mela have also been instructed accordingly by their respective embassies. This advice has assumed a special significance in view of the recent gang rape incident that took place in New Dehali.

Prayagaraj – After the administration refused to allot a land for establishing Shankar Chatushpath as demanded by Swami Avimukteshwar, he has surrendered the said land. Now, this land is in control of the administration. Harichaitanya Brahmachari had requested administration for allotment of this land; however, since the administration has refused to accede to this request, Harichaitanya Brahmachari filed a public interest litigation in Allahabad High Court. (Sadhus filing litigation in Court for allotment of land for their own use instead of for establishing Shankar Chatushpath are the true enemies of Hindu Dharma ! – Editor)

Terrorist acts suspected from terrorists : Police from Intelligence Department keeping watch on the pandals of Saints-Sages in Kumbh Mela, in view of security !

Prayagaraj : In view of safety from the terrorist activities by the Jihadi terrorists, the Police from Intelligence Department is keeping a special watch on the pandals of Saints-Sages in Kumbh Mela. Local Intelligence squad and Special Action Group are assisting this operation. The devotees visiting pandals of Saints will be screened. While making any enquiries, care will be taken to avoid any harassment to them.

Railway administration inactive for the safety of devotees !

No scanners are provided on railway stations for checking the luggage articles ! Prayagaraj : Laks of Devotees are expected to visit Kumbh Mela. Railway administration has made available some facilities and carried out certain changes for their convenience. Railway administration has erected a new police outpost for the safety of devotees; however, no scanners are provided on the railway station for checking the luggage articles of devotees. Therefore, it will become easy for the terrorists to carry out any destructive activity. Police authorities have employed metal detectors to check the baggage.

‘The administration has refused to allot land for establishing Shankar Chatushpath so that all four Shankaracharyas can stay together in the Kumbh Mela starting at Prayagaraj (Allahabad) from 7.1.2013. Shankaracharya is expected to get active to secure religious rights for Hindus by guiding them in this respect, instead of boycotting Kumbh Mela !

Prayagaraj (Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh) : ‘Prayagwal Sabha has 950 acres of land in Kumbh Mela. We will establish Shankar Chatushpath wherever Shankaracharya Swami Swarupananda Saraswati of Jyotish Peeth desires.’ This humble statement was submitted by Mr. Ajay Pande, President of Prayagwal Sabha to Shankaracharya Swami Swarupananda Saraswati; similarly, Mr. Pande prayed Him not to boycott Kumbh Mela. The area of Kumbh Mela comes under the jurisdiction of Prayagwal Sabha, but the planning of Kumbh Mela is with the administration. Mr. Pande made above request on submitting the statement to Shankaracharya Swami Swarupananda Saraswati while He was leaving Manakameshwar temple where He stayed.

While leaving the temple, Shankaracharya Swami Swarupananda Saraswati said, “Clean and pure water of river Ganga should be made available in Kumbh Mela to the devotees. Devotees are arriving in Kumbh Mela with a desire to take Holy bath in pious river Ganga. Devotees visit Kumbh Mela for attaining spiritual progress. They should meet proper guides in the form of Gurus. Army has no right to appoint President; on the same lines, Akhadas do not shape Shankaracharya. I have been visiting Kumbh Mela since the year 1942; however, I will not be doing so this time. I will come again in Kumbh Mela only after the establishment of Shankar Chatushpath.”

Due to the above statement by Shankaracharya Swami Swarupananda Saraswati, the devotees present there got incensed against the administration of Mela.

Regional Convener of Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Acharya Kushumuni said, “The administration of Mela will have to accept the proposal of Shankar Chatushpath.” On this occasion, Shankaracharya Swami Swarupananda Saraswati raised His hand and appealed the devotees to calm down. Shankaracharya said, “If the administration approves Shankar Chatushpath, I will definitely come at Kumbh Mela to take Holy bath; otherwise I will not come. Har Har Mahadev !”

On this occasion, Acharya Ramkailash Pande, representative of Shankaracharya of Puri and Hariom, representative of Shrungeri Peeth were present.

Whimsical management continues by the administration for remaining works in Kumbh Mela !

Prayagaraj (Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh) : Work to provide essential facilities for Kumbh Mela slated to begin from 7th January 2013 is still incomplete. Since a very few days are left for the commencement of Kumbh Mela, officers and employees of the administration have started acting whimsically under the pretext of shortage of available time. The government has decided to review the works completed till the end of December. The action will be taken against the officers and employees responsible for the chaos. (‘Action’ means nothing but the transfer of officers and employees from one place to another ! The Chief Secretary of the State government has called for the progress report from the departments who were involved in the planning of Kumbh Mela. These departments include Public Works Department, Irrigation Department, Transport Department, Health Department, Water supply Department, Municipal Corporation Department. Since the office of the Chief Minister has received complaints about the erratic management in the planning of Kumbh Mela, the Chief Secretary has been asked to take the review of works. (Anti-Hindu government getting awakened only after the receipt of complaints ! When such a large festival of Hindus is being organised in U.P., the Chief Minister and Chief Secretary of the State do not provide sufficient attention to its planning. This means that they do not have any business with the festival of Hindus. If this would have been the festival of Muslims, then five star facilities might have been provided by this time ! Kumbh Mela : Firm on demand for Shankar Chatushpath, says Shankaracharya Swami Swarupananda Saraswati

Prayagraj (Uttar Pradesh) : There are 121 individuals in the country who are marching pompously as Shankaracharyas. They cannot be fought against, nor can they be brought to court of law, for it will take years to seek justice there. The demand for Shankar Chatushpath is being raised to rescue the devotees from phoney Shankaracharyas. (Realise that because of lack of education about Dharma in Hindus, Hindu Dharma has come to such a sorry state of affairs ! – Editor SP) I am still firm on my demand. We want the very same place on which pandal was earlier erected. This demand was raised by Shankaracharya Swami Swarupananda Saraswati of Jyotishpitha while speaking to the reporters ar Manakameshwar.

Shankaracharya Swami Swarupananda Saraswati further said, “The centre of 4 peethas and 7 Sannyasi Akhadas is Shankaracharya. If Chatushpath is established, entire family of Shankaracharyas will have a chance to come together. In the year 1977, all four Shankaracharyas had come together. It is surprising that Akhadas are opposing Chatushpath. Government is behind this opposition. The administration had acceded to the demand of Chatushpath when they met me, but later on, they opposed the demand under the cover of Akhadas. Mahant Hari Giri had supported the demand. He also met me. Now, he has changed his stance and is opposing the proposal. During last Kumbh Mela held in Haridwar, Shankar Chatushpath was established by Akhadas themselves. Our enmity is not with Akhadas, but with counterfeit and phoney Shankaracharyas. They should not be allowed to enter Kumbh Mela. We have not boycotted river Ganga Mata, Kumbh Mela and confluence. We are disappointed with this Mela. The government and administration have converted this religious Kumbha Parva into a fair and sports ground.” (This is punishment awarded to Hindus for having elected the ruling Samajwadi Party, which is turning Hindus’ religious festival into a ridicule ! – Editor SP)

Disputes in Kumbh Mela

During the Kumbh Mela held earlier in Haridwar, there was a dispute over Chatushpath, following which some Saints had threatened to carry out self-immolation. There was also chaos on allotment of land. In Kumbh Mela held in the year 2001, there was a dispute between the followers of both Shankaracharya Swami Swarupananda Saraswati and Swami Vasudevanand. The dispute caused due to distribution of pamphlets had gone to the extent of physical assault. Similarly, the dispute between Swami Nishchalanand Saraswati, Shankaracharya of Puri and Adhokshanand had also taken place.

Atrocities committed on women will also be discussed by VHP in Kumbh Mela

Protest is being lodged at almost all the levels against the death of a young woman following her gang rape in New Dehali. This aspect will now be discussed by Vishva Hindu Parishad in Kumbh Mela. In a conference to be held in Kumbh Mela starting from 7th February, the issue of security of women will be discussed along with other points such as construction of Shriram temple, reservations to Muslims, infiltration from Bangala Desh.

‘Dhanvantari Health Scheme’ for distribution of free medicines to Hindus will be commissioned.

Kumbh Mela : Wrong move of Akhadas by opposing the concept of Shankar Chatushpath

Warning by Akhadas to boycott the Holy bath in Kumbh Mela !

Prayagraj (Uttar Pradesh) : Shankar Chatushpath, the concept proposed in order to facilitate Shankaracharyas of all four Peethas to stay at one place is opposed by 13 Akhadas. The administration has not given consent to this concept. Thirteen Akhadas have threatened to boycott Holy bath in Kumbh Mela if the administration gives its consent to this concept. Similarly, the office bearers of these Akhadas have warned that Shankaracharya Swarupanand Saraswati should not spoil the atmosphere of Kumbh Mela. (When Hindu Dharma and the nation are facing many perils, Akhadas, instead of getting active against such perils are engaged in mutual hassles ! Because of this attitude on their part, instead of earning respect, they are being criticised ! – Editor SP)

In a meeting held in Baghambari Gadi Ashram on 28th December, decision to oppose the concept of Shankar Chatushpath was taken. Mahamantri of Juna Akhada Mahant Hari Giri had initiated the proposal to oppose. It was approved unanimously. Later on, another resolution was proposed. The followers of Shankaracharya Swarupanand Saraswati had tried to trespass in the Holy bath procession of Vaishnav Akhada in the Kumbh Mela in the year 2010. This resolution proposed that the administration should make arrangements so that above incident would not be repeated this time. The administration was informed of both the decisions taken on the resolutions.

In this meeting, Narendra Giri, Mahant Prem Giri, Mahant Durgadas, Shripanch Rajendra Das, Mahant Kailashanand, Mahant Dharmadas. Mahant Prempuri, Mahant Ramkishor Das and office bearers of all Akhadas were present.

Chaos in planning of Kumbh Mela !

1. Last date for providing facilities for Kumbh Mela was 31st December; still many works are incomplete.

2. The work of providing facilities is not likely to be completed by Makarasankranti.

3. It has come to light that serious mistakes have occurred in the completed works.

4. Even after the instructions by the Chief Secretary, attitude to evade duties by the officers and employees is plainly visible.

5. No corrective action has been taken on the unclean environment and foul odour on the Ganga banks and shore of Ganga river.

Kumbh Mela : Fight is only to rescue Hindus from wrong Shankaracharyas, says Swami Avimukteshwaranand

Certain anti-Sanatan Dharma individuals under different guises are assuming themselves as Shankaracharya and looting Hindus under the pretext of Dharma. Unfortunately, such elements have become active during Kumbh Mela 2013 and the government is dancing to the tune of such fictitious individuals. We are fighting to expose such fraudulent elements. This statement is made by Swami Avimukteshwaranand. He was speaking while giving an interview to a newspaper.

Swami Avimukteshwaranand further said, “Our objective is not to procure land in Kumbh Mela site, but we wish that Shankaracharya should be accorded due respect. There is ignorance about the term ‘Shankaracharya’ in the minds of Hindus; to dispel that ignorance, the demand of Shankar Chatushpath was being made. This would have made all the four Shankaracharyas to stay at one place.”

Ruling Samajwadi Party exploiting Kumbha Mela for canvassing

On the background of Parliamentary general elections to be held in the year 2014, the Ruling Samajwadi Party in U.P. is exploiting Kumbha Mela for canvassing of their party. During Kumbha Mela, the government is conducting advertising on a large scale about the development carried out by it, its policies, and welfare schemes. To achieve this purpose a grant of 6 crore 25 lakhs is made for Department of Information. (People should take to task the Samajwadi Party for splurging such huge public money for canvassing their party and should teach them lesson in next elections ! – Editor SP)

Scheme to build the temple of Shriram in Ayodhya
will be finalised in Kumbha Mela itself ! - Dr. Pravin Togadia

Mau (Uttar Pradesh) : Plan to build the temple of Shriram in Ayodhya will be drawn in the Saint’s Convention to be held in Kumbha Mela, and the date to begin it will also be declared at that time. This information was given by Dr. Pravin Togadia, International Working President of Vishwa Hindu Parishad while speaking to reporters.

Dr. Togadia further said, “Vishwa Hindu Parishad is operating more than 45,000 projects in nomadic and tribal areas. Through the medium of these projects, plans for education, health, housing etc. for the poor are being executed, and efforts are being made to bring this section into the nation’s main stream. Due to these projects, 5 lakh Christians and 2 lakh Muslims have returned to Hindu Dharma.”

Shankaracharyas and Saints should come forward for protection of Dharma rather than boycotting ‘Kumbh Mela’ : Request by HJS

The ‘Maha-Kumbh-Mela’ taking place at Prayag is a unique feature of Hindu Dharma. This unification of Hindus was given ‘Vaidik’ form by Adya Shankaracharya granting it high prestige and honour. With his inspiration, Shankaracharyas from different ‘Peethas’, ‘Sadhus’ from 13 ‘Aakhaadaas’, Mahamandaleshwars, followers of ‘Shaiva’ and ‘Vaishnav’ Sects, many scholars, ‘Sanyasis’, Saints etc. come together for ‘Kumbh- Mela’ at Prayag. Different fairs and conventions held at ‘Kumbh Mela’ in their auspicious presence, is the biggest religious fair of Hindus held in the world.

Tradition of welcoming these religious leaders and seeking their blessings after their ‘holy bath’ is being followed for several years. The ‘Sant-darshan’ program held at ‘Kumbh Mela’ gives an impetus to the devotees for increasing devotion by taking ‘Darshan’ of Saints; whereas spiritual meets on Dharma, spiritual science, Ramayana’, Bhagavat’ etc. motivates devotees by listening to discourses given by spiritually evolved Saints; thus for devotees, ‘Kumbh Mela’ is a treat for their eyes as well as for ears. ‘Kumbh Mela’, therefore, is a rare opportunity for followers of Hindu Dharma.

Strong protest against Samajwadi Party’s Government in UP !

It is the duty of the Government to make every arrangement required for ‘Kumbh Mela’. This ‘Kumbh Mela’ is not being arranged for the first time; it is a tradition followed regularly for hundreds of years. Even before independence, Mughal and British rulers did not leave any loose end in organization of ‘Kumbh Mela’ to seek blessings of spiritually evolved persons participating in ‘Kumbh- Mela’; nor was there any religious interference from them. In independent India, this tradition continued; but this year, Mr. Azam Khan, a minister in Uttar Pradesh Government is entrusted with making all arrangements and there is utter chaos. Jyotishpithadheeshwar Shankaracharya Swami Swarupananda Saraswati and Shankaracharya Swami Nishchalananda Saraswati of Govardhan-Peetha, Puri have decided to boycott ‘Kumbh Mela’ to strongly protest the anti-Hindu management of UP Government. It is a matter of deep regret for 800 millions of Hindus. Anti-Hindu attitude of UP Government and Administration is most condemnable. The Administration has committed a sin of insulting ‘Brahma-tej’ of Bharat and they will have to face its consequences !

Responsible religious leaders are expected to take action for prevention of harm being caused to Dharma !

One of the objectives of ‘Maha-Kumbh-Mela’ is to reassure Hindus by protecting them from religious attacks. All Hindus expect active leadership from all Jagatgurus, Dharmacharyas, Mahamandaleshwars and Saints etc. against the harm caused to Dharma by the Government.

HJS requests Shankaracharyas !

Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) has a request to make at the feet of Shankaracharyas in connection with their boycotting ‘Maha-Kumbh-Mela’. “Boycott by Shankaracharyas will not only break the ‘Vaidk’ tradition followed for thousands of years; but all Hindus will be deprived of a spiritual experience of highest order; therefore, for preventing such dual harm to Hindu Dharma, Shankaracharyas should withdraw their decision of boycotting and attend ‘Maha-Kumbh-Mela’, for sanctification, as per the tradition.

Most disorderly management of the ruling Samajwadi party in the planning of Kumbh Mela !

Shankarachrya, instead of boycotting is expected to become active to secure the religious rights of Hindus by guiding Hindus on this issue !

Varanasi (Uttar Pradesh) : Due to disorderly management in Kumbh Mela planning, Jyotishpithadhishwar Shankaracharya Swami Swarupanand Saraswati has at last declared his decision not to visit there. Earlier, he had stated that he may visit Kumbh Mela if the management improves; however, he has now clarified that he has cancelled his visit. (If Hindus’ Shankaracharya takes a submissive stand against such an anti-Dharma conduct, which ideals Hindus will look up to, and how Hindu Dharma will be protected ? Hindu, who has already become leaderless will be more powerless now that his own Shankaracharya has retreated ! Shankaracharya should now acquire marak (Destroyer) form of God, meaning, Kshatradharma ! – Editor SP)

Shankaracharya Swami Swarupanand Saraswati said in Kashi, “Since no arrangements are made according to the status, in Kumbh Mela, there is no propriety in visiting there; therefore, I have taken a decision not to pay a visit there. The activities being performed in Kumbh Mela are against the tradition. This act is against the status and honour or all the four Peethas. The new conventions are being formulated, and the importance being is given to some so-called individuals. This is harmful for Dharma. My objective is not to fight with anyone or to enter into any debate, but to guide as per Scriptures. Few Saints are venturing, for their selfishness, to act against the rules of Peethas established by Adi Shankaracharya. It can as well be presumed as to how much and for whom they will be achieving the welfare.”

Shankaracharya Swami Swarupanand Saraswati has left Kashi for Paramhansi Ashram, Narsinhpur in M.P. on 26th December. He will hold discussions on the issue of river Ganga with the Union Ministers. This information has been sent to Prime Minister’s Office.

Swami Avimukteshwaranand also deserted the location of Kumbh Mela !

Swami Avimukteshwaranand has left the location of Kumbh Mela because no appropriated decision was arrived at on the issue concerning the site for Shankar Chatushpath. He left along with His disciples after dismantling his pandal at 2 p.m. on 26th December. In the mean time, he held several discussions with the government officials in Kumbh Mela. He has taken the step to leave the location after failing to receive any written assurance from the administration.

Discontent among Saints over the boycott by Shankaracharya

Discontent has spread among the Saints over the boycott on Kumbh Mela by Jyotishpithadhishwar Shankaracharya Swami Swarupanand Saraswati. They are in a dilemma as to how to take Holy bath in the absence of Shankaracharya, the highest Guru of Sanatan tradition.

Reactions of Saints

1. Swami Achyutanand Tirth, Bhuma Adhyatma Peeth : It is a tradition of Kumbh Mela that all the four Shankaracharyas arrive there. The Holy bath taken after performing their consecration and worship merits unique importance. Non-arrival of Shankaracharyas in Kumbh Mela is harmful for Sanatan tradition.

2. Swami Santosh Das, Satuababa Peeth and Rameshwar Puri, Annapurna Temple : All the four Shankaracharyas are assumed as incarnations of Deity Shankar. If the highest Gurus of Hindus remain absent in Kumbh Mela, it will be is harmful for Sanatan tradition. In the future, the faith of Hindus unto Kumbh Mela can decrease.

3. Brahmachari Pawan, Karapatri Dham : Chiefs of Peethas, Saints, and Sages are the grace of Kumbh Mela. Shankaracharya is the highest dignitary of Hindu Dharma. This will be the first time in the history of Kumbh Mela that highest priests of Sanatan Dharma are boycotting the Holy bath of Kumbh Mela.

Kumbh Mela : Shankaracharyas decide to abstain from attending, if the chaos continues

Issue of ruling Samajwadi Party’s mess in management of ‘Kumbh Mela’ : Shankaracharyas from Puri and Jyotishpeeth decide to abstain from attending ‘Kumbh mela’ if the chaos continues

Hindus should realize that powerful pro-Hindu organizations and parties are still indifferent towards the chaos going on at Prayagraj; therefore, Hindus will only have to now unite and take action !

Varanasi (Uttar Pradesh) : Mr. Ashok Kumar Singh, a representative of Govardhan Peetha, Puri has informed that Shankaracharya Swami Nishchalananda Saraswati would not attend ‘Kumbh Mela’ starting from 7th January 2013 as he is infuriated with the chaos in its planning and management. The land allocated to Shankaracharya Swami Swarupananda Saraswati of Jyotish Peetha has also been changed leading to dispute; therefore, Shankaracharya Swami Swarupananda Saraswati has decided to keep away from ‘Kumbh Mela’ till the issue is sorted out by the Administration. (The decision of Shankaracharya of Govardhan Peetha and Jyotish Peetha of not to attend ‘Kumbh Mela’ needs to be first re-considered. If they do not attend ‘Kumbh Mela’, it will be like their assisting Hindus’ adversaries. The adversaries want that Hindus’ ‘Dharmagurus’ and devout Hindus should not come together for ‘Kumbh Mela’. If the guiding forces of Hindus take such flinching stand, will it not amount to lessening the importance of the biggest religious festival of Hindus in the world by Hindus only ? – Editor SP) The administration has allocated the same land to two Shankaracharyas, Saints, Mahants, Aakhaadaas, Organizations etc. creating dispute amongst them. (Such chaos was never created so far in the planning of ‘Kumbh Mela’. Shankaracharyas were not insulted in such manner; but as Samajwadi Party’s Government took over and planning of ‘Kumbh Mela’ has been entrusted to a Minister like Azam Khan, this situation has arisen. Hindus should realize its meaning. It is a conspiracy to insult Hindu Saints, Dharmacharyas and Shankaracharyas by appointing a Muslim minister for planning of the biggest religious festival of Hindus. Hindus should, therefore, unite and oppose this and force the Government to pay respect to Shankaracharyas! - Editor SP)

Mr. Ashok Kumar Singh said in this respect …..

1. A circular and map was given to the officers of ‘Kumbh Mela’ and the Government after seeking approval from all 4 Peethas. The officers handed over papers allocating places. Later, representatives of the Peethas erected marquees with the blessings of Shankaracharyas by performing ‘puja’ on those plots of land. The allocation was changed under somebody’s pressure. This act is against Dharmacharyas and it will never be accepted.

2. The Administration has not provided any facilities to the marquees erected for Dharmacharyas; how can Shankaracharyas attend ‘Kumbh Mela’ in this situation?

3. This is not the question of land; but it is the matter of protection of Shankaracharyas’ Peethas and Sanatan traditions.

4. Changing allocation of land under someone’s pressure is like insulting Shankaracharyas.

5. All 4 Peethas can come together and prepare themselves to fight against the Administration. (Hindus should admonish, in lawful manner, the ruling Samajwadi Party for forcing Saints to resort to agitations! – Editor SP)

Administration opposes setting up of ‘Shankar Chatushpaad’

1. The Administration has opposed allocation of ‘Shankar Chatushpaad’ land required by Swami Avimukteshwarananda Saraswati for bringing together Shankaracharyas of all 4 Peethas.

2. The Administration has asked Swami Avimukteshwarananda Saraswati to hand over the land to allotted parties.

3. Swami Avimukteshwarananda Saraswati representing Shankaracharya Swarupananda Saraswati had performed ‘puja’ at the place on 14th December allocated to Swami Harichaitanya Brahmachari and erected marquee besides erecting marquees at 3 other places.

4. According to Swami Avimukteshwarananda, all 4 Shankaracharyas were to stay here so that thee devotees would come to know the authenticity of Shankaracharyas. He said that Mr. Maniprasad Misra, the Chief Officer of ‘Kumbh Mela’ had granted verbal permission for this place.

‘Will not leave the place allocated in Kumbh Mela !’ – Jyotishpeethadhishwar Shankaracharya Swami Swarupananda Saraswati

Jyotishpeethadhishwar Shankaracharya Swami Swarupananda Saraswati said, “There is no problem with the allocation of lands in Kumbh Mela. The question which now remains is of the limitations of 4 ‘Peethas’! The administration of ‘Kumbh Mela’ is doing something against Sanatan traditions under someone’s pressure. In such situation, we may or may not go there; but there is no question of giving up the land. If all 4 Shankaracharyas come together, falsehood of fake Shankaracharya can be exposed; therefore, he is pressurizing officers managing ‘Kumbh Mela’.” Shankaracharya has also issued orders that disciples of the ‘Peetha’ should not vacate the place.

Swami Avimukteshwarananda is a Brahmin !

About Swami Avimukteshwarananda, Shankaracharya Swami Swarupananda Saraswati said, “Problem is created about the caste of Swami Avimukteshwarananda who is my disciple. The matter has been investigated. Swami Avimuktashwarananda is a high caste Brahmin. We have all necessary papers. Saints and Administration should be alert of those who are making such allegations.”

Conspiracy against Sanatan Dharma ! – Kashi Vidvat Parishad

Dr. Ramakant Pande, the ‘Mahamantri’ of ‘Kashi Vidvat Parishad (KVP)’ said while expressing his views on the issue that ‘the importance of ‘Kumbh Mela’ would be finished if such situation continues in its planning. The Administration is working against Sanatan traditions and honour of Shankaracharyas. In case the Administration is taking decision under somebody’s influence, Sanatan traditions would be in danger. Insult of Shankaracharyas is a part of conspiracy against Sanatan Dharma.’

Kumbh Mela : Samajwadi Party government’s Chaos in preparations !

Preparations for forthcoming ‘Kumbh Mela’ scheduled at Prayagraj (Allahabad) are going on very erratically. It is also observed that the ruling Samajwadi Party is creating chaos in preparations of Kumbh Mela. Allocation of one plot of land to two ‘Mahant’ or ‘Aakhaadaas’, inclusion of name of some organization in the list of chief officers of ‘Kumbh Mela’, non-inclusion of name of organization in the list in which it is allocated land, name of concerned officer not included in the proper list, inclusion of names in the list where encroachment has taken place etc. are some of the many problems faced by Hindu ‘Dharmadhikaris’ and pro-Hindu organizations.

Review of preparations of ‘Kumbh Mela’ being taken by Samajwadi Party’s Azam Khan !

The biggest religious festival celebrated in the world is Hindus’ ‘Kumbh Mela’ and review of its preparations is being taken by Mr. Azam Khan, the most trusted (?) minister of the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Mr. Akhilesh Yadav. In a review meeting held in October 2012, it was stated by Mr. Azam Khan that no negligence would be tolerated in preparations of ‘Kumbh Mela’; but in fact, although the first holy bath is scheduled on 14th January, allocation of places is not yet over. There is lot of confusion in whatever work has been done. As a result, two ‘Shankaracharyas’ and many Mahants have warned of boycotting ‘Kumbh Mela’ and not visiting Prayag. Anarchic regime of Samajwadi Party in planning for ‘Kumbh-Mela’ at Prayag

Hindus must realize the inevitability of Hindu Rashtra !

One land donated to two ‘Aakhaadaas’ and Institutions !

Varanasi (Uttar Pradesh) : The local administration has allocated a plot of land bearing No. 25 in Sector 10 at Mori Road, South Patari, Prayagraj to Sanatan Sanstha. The related papers were also handed over in this connection. When Sanatan seekers went to this place, the local administration gave evasive answers. Other ‘Aakhaadaas’ and Organizations are getting similar experience and it has been observed that same plot of land has been allocated to two ‘Aakhaadaas’ and Organizations. (Rulers and administrators creating anarchy in the planning of religious festivals of Hindus, indicate unavoidability for establishment of Hindu Rashtra ! – Editor SP)

1. Officers of Sector 10 said on meeting, “Mori Road area is not under our jurisdiction. You go to Sector 9 or Sector 5 and enquire.” (Government officers, employees are people’s servants. They get salary out of the tax paid by people; but the above example shows that they behave as if they are owners of people. Such Government officers and employees will be stringently punished in Hindu Rashtra as per the prevailing laws ! – Editor SP)

2. When seekers went to both the Sectors, they were told by the Sector supervisor that Mori Road did not fall in their jurisdiction. (Most of the Govt. employees are birds of same feathers ! – Editor SP)

3. Similar problem is faced by 2-3 other organizations that have been allocated land for ‘Kumbh – Mela’.

4. When enquiry was made with the office of ‘Kumbh Mela’ -Planning, the officers said that papers given to Sanatan were proper; but there was encroachment on that land and from the following day, administration was to undertake a drive to remove the encroachments. The land would be handed over when encroachments were removed within 2-3 days. (When it was known that there was encroachment on the land, why steps were not taken earlier to remove the same? – Editor SP)

5. With such anarchy of the administration, Saints, Mahants and organizations are facing problems. (By creating problems for Saints, Mahants and seekers, Administration is committing sin ! – Editor SP)

6. The same plot of land has been allocated to two ‘Aakhaadaas’ or Saints due to anarchy of the administration causing serious problems.

7. It is observed that the Administration is silently watching the fun of Saints and chiefs of ‘Aakhaadaas’ coming to take possession of land.

8. People are wondering that in this age of computer, how one plot of land can be allocated to two ‘Aakhaadaas’.

Attempts to create rift between spiritual organizations of Hindus

The rulers of Samajwadi Party in Uttar Pradesh are trying to create rift between Hindus by allocating same plot of land to ‘Aakhaadaas’ and Saints. Various representatives of religious leaders, Saints, ‘Aakhaadaas’ and Shankaracharya are accusing the Government of committing such mistakes on purpose. (Hindus should note what happens when such rulers are elected to power and get ready for establishment of Hindu Rashtra ! – Editor SP)
