Kumbh Mela : Swami Chidananda tries to draw attention to ‘Sarva-Dharma Sansad’ by felicitating Imam

Attempts to paint ‘Kumbh-Mela’ with colour of secularism !

Prayagraj (UP) : When most of the ‘aakhaadaas’ are busy in organizing Convention of Saints, ‘Dharma-sansad’ etc. for unification of religious leaders of Hindus, Swami Chidananda Saraswati Muni is trying to create obstacle and paint ‘Kumbh-Mela’ with secular colour. On 18^th and 19^th February, ‘Vishwa Dharmaguru Convention’ has been organized at the camp of ‘Paramartha Niketan’ and Swamiji is using new methods to draw attention towards this convention. As a part of this gimmick, Swami Chidananda felicitated Imam Umer Ahmad Illayasi, the organizer of ‘All India Imam Organization’ although it was not on the agenda.

The organization of Illayasi is representing Imams of 5,30,000 mosques. He was felicitated by offering him ‘Kalpataru’, ‘Rudraksh’ and ‘lemon twig’. Illayasi extended invitation to Swami Chidananda to attend a meeting of Imams scheduled at New Delhi in the next month. Swami Chidananda said, “The ‘Confluence’ gives message of peace; therefore, representatives of all religions are welcomed here. Although they need a passport to reach here from different countries, no passport is required to reach heart.”
