Police pay no heed to complaints against unauthorized mosque at Dhankavadi (Pune)

Pune (Maharashtra) : A 4-storeyed mosque has been constructed with indirect help from the Government on the land of Asif Khan at Punyainagar, Dhankavadi. Permission of Home Department has not been taken for constructing this mosque. Many times, complaints have been lodged with Municipal Corporation and Police Department, letters have been written; but due to cowardly policy of both the departments, no action has been taken against the unauthorized construction. Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has accepted that the construction is illegal; whereas Police have avoided taking any action by giving the reason as ‘demolition of controversial mosque can lead to riots’. (How are PMC and Police not ashamed of themselves to give such reasons? Who is ruling this country; elected representatives or fanatic Muslims? Government, that avoids to take action against illegal mosques because fanatics would start rioting, shows guts only to Hindus by razing down their temples with bulldozers. Will such anti-legal Government ever give rule of law and order to the citizens? Hindus should realize that establishment of Hindu Nation .Governed by ‘sattvik’ rulers for the welfare of the world) is the only alternative for bringing about a change in this situation ! – Editor SP)
Mr. Shailendra Dixit, the Chief of ‘Samasta Hindu Aghadi’ – Gourakshan Dept. informed in a press conference that a petition has been filed against PMC in Mumbai High Court in this matter. (Congratulations to Mr. Shailendra Dixit for giving legal fight against illegal mosque ! – Editor SP) PMC demolishes other unauthorized constructions but its inaction against this mosque is beyond comprehension. Mr. Dixit demanded that such mosque should be demolished immediately. Hearing will take place in the end of January. Mr. Milind Ekbote, the Chief Executive of ‘Samasta Hindu Aghadi’ Mr. Vidyadhar Nargolkar of Swatantryaveer Savarkar Smruti Pratishthan and Mr. Sunil Ghanavat and Girish Dhumal of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti also shared the dais.
Mr. Ekbote said, “Illegal construction is related to terrorism. MIM MLA, Akbaruddin Owaisi talks about eliminating all Hindus within 15 minutes. It can be claimed that he could talk in such manner because of the stock of weapons stored in mosques. Life of innocent people is in danger due to security provided for such illegal constructions. People should show such rulers their right place in the forthcoming elections.”
Mr. Sunil Ghanavat condemned Police and Administration and declared full support to Mr. Shailendra Dixit.
Is it Police inaction or appeasement?
Construction Development Department of PMC had written a letter to the Senior Police Inspector, Sahakarnagar on 27th July 2012 asking for police force for demolition of illegal construction. It has been stated in the letter that the local leaders had verbally requested to withhold action temporarily as ‘Ramazan’ was going on. PMC claims that the action required to be taken is extra –sensitive and can create law and order problem; therefore, after provision of police force only, action can be taken; but it is the opinion of people from the area that police protection was not provided in the past 6 months; therefore, action could not be taken.
