Kali Temple looted, desecrated in Shantipur

Hindu witness to incident brutally murdered

Is history repeating itself in Bengal? It was the dark days of 1940s (days prior to the partition of then undivided Bengal in 1947) when Hindu temples became the foremost targets of Islamists and the whipping endorsement of then Muslim League bolstered the perennial anti-Hindu odium only.

The present state of affairs is just the same; Hindu temples across the Indian state of Bengal are turning out to be primary targets of Islamic vandalism and the situation is such that not a day passes when the desecration of a Hindu temple goes unheard.

The highly revered Kali Temple located at Fuliapara Krittibas (Ramayana was written in Bengali here by the mediaeval poet Krittibas Ojha), P.S. Shantipur, District: Nadia has turned into the latest target. On April 25, 2012 (in the early morning) the Temple was attacked by a packed of assailants. Not the temple was looted and desecrated only but Sri Bijoy Ghosh, who did recognize the assailants, was brutally murdered also. The whole area is tensed as a result and is apprehending more such vicious attacks in the coming days.

It is worthwhile to mention, Hindu temples in and around Shantipur (aided by weird disinclination of administration to adopt tough measures against culprits) have become completely vulnerable to mounting divisive activities of Islamists.

Hindu Samhati’s standpoint of steel toughens Hindu struggles in Bansghata

Hindu Samhati’s exulting march was witnessed on April 21, 2012 once more when people in strength did attend its meeting at Bansghata village (around Indo- Bangladesh border), P.S. Bagda, District: 24 Paraganas (North).  It is needless to say that mounting Hindu persecution by Islamists in the vicinity has been the key reason to propel hapless Hindus there to call for Hindu Samhati.

There are quite a few strange factors as well. The village of Bansghata does contain a BSF camp. Nonetheless, personnel of the same camp failed outrageously a few weeks ago, when few hundred Bangladeshi Islamists sneaked into India, assailed Hindus viciously and ransacked the neighboring village of Sutia. Being precluded by the governmental order from New Delhi that BSF personnel are not allowed to fire a single shot in India-Bangladesh border area even, BSF jawans did not feel the need to go and save Indians from monstrous Bangladeshi Islamists.

All these grievances did surface in the HS meeting at Bansghata village. But what surpassed all was the narration of the horrific experience of a little Hindu girl of 8 years. Thanks to the activities of one fearless woman activists of HS, Lipika, there, the little girl along with her mother came to the podium. The mother recounted the grievous incident of rape of her little daughter by an Islamist youth named Feroz Biswas (age 17) and how Islamists (in the neighborhood) along with police and local CPIM leadership are making efforts to squash the crime.

Tearful narration of the incident by the mother touched hearts of all and the entire audience was seen to burst to tears.

Hindu Samhati is determined to have justice for the pitiable Hindu girl and struggle for Hindu interest across the globe and inflict crushing defeats on adversaries of Dharma.

This standpoint of steel reverberated round the meeting instilling a strong confidence among Hindus there.

Infiltrators terrorizes local habitant

The villagers of Ghuni Uttar Math under New Town police station at North 24 Parganas might not have it in their worst nightmares what they actually experienced on the second day of Bengali new year i.e. 15th April, 2012. The theory of universal fraternity and secularism, what they have been taught over the years by political leaders, were shattered as they experienced the true colour of Islamic barbarism.

It all started with a chaos over right to cultivate the land of HIDCO at Rajarhat-New Town area. The lands were being traditionally cultivated by local socially backward Hindu people and it was their only way for livelihood. But things were getting changed in the last few years with increasing number of Bangladeshi infiltrators who were allowed to settle there under active indulgence of administration as it could fetch them minority vote bank.  Slowly but steadily, local Hindu people were being cornered and infiltrators were gaining possession of everything belongs to them.

It is reported that on 15th April, there was a rift between two communities and as a result, Tapas Halder, S/O, Pijus Halder, Mamata Mandal (38 year) w/o, Mohan Mandal, and Rina Mandal (20 year) w/o, Tapas Mandal were attacked and mercilessly beaten up. The case took a new twist when victims made a representation to local leader Dibakar Mandal who in collusion with the attacker refused to help the Hindu victims. The attacker again came back in the night at around 10:30 and hijacked Tapas Mandal near a local bridge only to stripe him and beat him to unconsciousness. The local police was reluctant to take any action against the attack and it resulted in another attack on 17th April when the house of Tarun Halder was torched and gutted into ashes.

The matter was then brought under notice of Hindu Samhati and Sri Tapan Ghosh, the President of Hindu Samhati, rushed to the spot. He escorted the victims to local police station to file a FIR. Though the apparent behavior of the concerned officer was sympathetic to them but their real intention became quite vibrant when they requested to patch up the case mutually. But finally, on the insistence of Hindu Samhati, they agreed to lodge a FIR and till date only a single offender, Atiyar Khan, has been arrested.

Now, it’s Chandannagar

Hindus face heat of Islamists’ tortures

Hindus are not safe at any quarter in Bengal and for sure the mounting official and non-official endorsements to Islamists are playing a key role to stimulate them to persist their first and foremost task – Hindu persecution – in an alleged democratic framework. Shockingly repellent Hindu persecution taking place on April 19, 2012 at Urdibazar, Chandannagar, District: Hooghly, does denote the same worsening saga in every capacity.

Locality of Urdibazar, P.S. Chandannagar, District: Hooghly happens to be a Muslim dominated area with a small presence of Hindu fishermen (almost 250 members, as per study) in it for decades. And the Hindu families have been celebrating “Sakirtan” there for decades, if not more, and no disturbance to any other individual did ever take place there. Nevertheless, Islamists, for the last few years, have been striving to call this exclusive Hindu festival a halt.

On April 19, 2012, a few Muslims did appear at the site of “Sankirtan” and asked Hindus to switch off the microphones to let them conduct azan (Islamic call to prayer) in the evening peacefully. The request was maintained and once the Islamic call was over, microphones were again turned on.

At 10.30 pm, 2 Muslim youths were found to quarrel among themselves fiercely at the site of “Sankirtan”. Organizers of the festival asked them politely to call it off and leave the place right away. Both went away but after almost 40 minutes one of them appeared there once more. The second Muslim youth also did turn up soon and assaulted the former one all of a sudden. The quarrel that ensued started hampering the Hindu festival; Hindus asked them sternly to leave the area. Later on, it became evident that the entire development was part of a design to stop the Hindu festival.

The two Muslim youths came back soon after with a pack of Islamists (containing 100 ruffians at least) and without getting into any discussion, they started destructing the festival along with neighboring Hindu households. Befuddled Hindus had no way other than to retreat; few Hindus tried to offer stiff resistance but the large number of Islamists did overpower them easliy.

Hindus went to the police station to lodge an FIR against the Islamists but the approach was thoroughly discarded there.  However, when forced police did accept it. And, based on the FIR, police nabbed three Islamist ruffians namely Sheikh Sikander, Sheikh Chottu and Sheikh Munna.

On April 20, 2012, a weird incident took place. Islamists (en masse), following the namaz in afternoon, went to P.S. Chandannagar and asked police officials there what prevented them from nabbing Hindu youths at the same instant. It has been learnt that police stated clearly how tortured Hindu youths could be assailants. But this defiant posture of local police was curbed by the administration soon or else three innocent Hindu youths viz. Sukanta Dhali (age 24), Samir Biswas (age 23), Somnath Dhli (age 22) could not have been arrested.  It has been learnt that various sections like Section – 147, 148, 149, 448, 324, 325, 326 and 427 have been imposed on them.

Hindu boys are yet to be bailed out and their relatives along with Hindu neighbors in Urdipara are spending sleepless nights. There is an apprehension that more attacks of Islamists may befall there soon.  A few Hindu families, it is learnt, have already started to send their daughters, daughters-in-law to their relatives’ houses.

Role of police is confusing; they will not help Hindus, it is needles to say.

Is there any rule of law in Bengal? Are Hindus living in a true democratic and secular setup?

Hindu Samhati enthuses Banagon

Tapan Ghosh’s clarion call of need of sacrifices makes Hindus enlivened

Eve of April 20, 2012 was like the evening of any other casual day in the realm of Tangra Colony, Banagon, P.S. Bamgaon, District: 24 Paraganas (South), but what turned out to be in the end proved to be something beyond the expectation of people, especially Hindus, living there. A campaign indeed went on of the meeting of Hindu Samhati (on that very day) in the last few days and apart from the endorsement of a very few people, no wider support was visible. But at long last all reluctant Hindus were found to seat in the vast field right before the podium of HS and listen to the fiery speeches of speakers of Hindu Samhati and above all of Sri Tapan Ghosh, president, Hindu Samhati keenly.

What made them so interested?  What an assortment of speakers of Hindu Samhati like Sri Abhijit Das, Sri Pradip Das, Sri Ajit Adhikary were referring to was not any petty issue but the age-old grievances of Hindus that have never been listened to, forget of taking those into consideration. Whether they’re the days of East Pakistan or existing Bangladesh or even the modern India, anguishes of Hindus do refuse to end. And whenever there is any legitimate demand of Hindus, political parties, irrespective of political inclinations, terming it as parochial and hence, hindrance to the nation’s progress make all efforts to kill it.

Hindu Samhati, Hindus know it very well, does detest to compromise its ideal of struggling for Hindu causes and all these joined with inspiring summons of Hindu Samhati leaders to Hindus to join the Hindu freedom struggle made the convention a sensational success.

But what surpassed all was the fiery speech of Sri Tapan Ghosh. Sri Ghosh started the speech through terming the notion of secularism as a national disease leading to a great endorsement from Hindus, acquainted with the same through daily experiences, present there.  He made it clear that the saga of secularism in India has been doctored and the present state of affairs is such that it doesn’t have any distant relation with the original definition even.

The most pious job of secularism in India is to render all and best opportunities to Muslims depriving others and in its failure, the chronicle loses both its sanctity and authenticity. Such an exposition happens to be the Imam-special package declared by the Bengal government of late that (in every capacity) happens to be a deliberate affront to the notion of national integration. When on earth a secular country like India, to conform to basics of secularism as enshrined in the Constitution of India, must not interfere into any distinctive religious affair, concessions to Muslims has become the greatest obligation of the State. Who is communal then? Is it the political system or Hindus asking reasons behind these?

Sri Ghosh went on analyzing the fallout of all these. As per him, owing to the existing mindset no disproportionate assets of Muslims are ever questioned – even if it’s known to all that fake currency in India is ruining the whole nation more and more and foremost trade route behind all these happens to be Kaliachak in Malda, Muslim-dominated district in Bengal. For that reason, task of Hindus is to comprehend the reality and act accordingly. Gone are the days when Hindus used to be reliant on principles of humanism, benevolence and fair treatment to all and ill-treatment to none. The reality is that all such noble thoughts of Hindus have been misused and through Islamic persecutions and various forms of treasons, Hindus have been maimed gravely.

If Hindus can’t react now, they will become extinct in the pages of history before long.

And if Hindus want to remain with dignity and abide by its age-old religious beliefs, they have got to go through the pages of Mahabharata, Ramayana and Bhagavad-Gita to find out the real meaning of struggle and how one can become victorious.

Hindus have to shed their blood to remain independent – this clarion call of Sri Ghosh led to a battle-cry within Hindus that might have unnerved Islamists in the vicinity and across the border as well.

A cycle for each minority Muslim girl student – Didi’s newest benevolence

What’s of girls of other minority communities?

Parochial Bengal government sets new standard of shamelessness

Didi is indeed busy these days; while on one hand, she is leaving no stone unturned to ameliorate her government’s image through ostentatious approaches, she is also hell-bent to purge any opposition to her own cult (built up by her, along with her headless acolytes and sycophants scrupulously) – harassment of Dr. Ambikesh Mahapatra as regards cartoon of Didi and Bengal CID’s appeal to Facebook to eliminate four pictures satirizing Ms Banerjee being the latest realities.

However, this is not the whole! Didi has a more important business than all these – it is to improve socio-economic conditions of minorities, in particular Muslims, in the state of Bengal. There were such apprehensions from prior to her ascension to the citadel of power in Bengal and her Imam-special package (announced on April 3, 2012) rendering a monthly stipend of Rs 2,500 for 30,000 Imams in Bengal along with various other facilities like housing schemes and funds for education of their children did authenticate her secular credentials once more. Detractors continue to assert that these are being done to make the footing of TMC stronger in Bengal and nothing can be better than pacification of Islamists (no matter what dangers it poses to the national integrity of India) in this respect.

But Didi is recklessly determined as usual (in her own style) and to further her own views, reigning Bengal government is all set to render a free cycle to each and every Muslim girl student and the cudgel of this responsibility falls on West Bengal Minorities Development and Finance Corporation. It has been learnt that the cash strapped Bengal government has already obtained the necessary fund for this job and Muslim girl students of both Madrasa and other schools, from Class IX to Class XII, will be provided this unique facility. Even if officials of Minorities Development have already stated that such facilities shall be given to wretched Muslim girl students only, conflicting statements have made the saga unscrupulous only.

What’s the basic reason behind such generosity?  When contacted, concerned officials stated candidly schools in Muslim areas do remain miles apart and as a result, such a decision would help Muslim girl students immensely.

We do also agree; but what the government refuses to accept is that such a fate is shared by all girl students, irrespective of religion or caste, in Bengal. Has the government ever desired to survey the existing situation of Hindu girl students or problems they do face? To cut a long story short, there does hardly remain any difference between Hindu and Muslims girls, particularly in the rural sector of Bengal. There is another question. How can problems faced by girls of other minority communities like Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists and also Santhals be dealt with?

Let’s go through this fundamental principle as enshrined in the Constitution of India – The Constitution of India defines minorities as a group of people having “a distinct language, script or culture of its own.” They are recognized to be a group of people who are culturally, linguistically and scripturally different from the rest and are identifiable. It is for the upkeep of their uniqueness that the Constitution strives to protect and promote them. The above aspects of these groups of people are sought to be conserved by allowing them to set up and maintain education institutes to promote their language, culture or script.

Hence, Muslims are not the only minorities; many others do remain in the same group also. What are Didi’s thoughts in bettering them then? How can girls of these minority communities be brushed aside and Muslim girls be showered with benefits only?

This is clearly offensive; it does not represent parochialism only but does dilute the notion of minority sainted in the Constitution of India as well.

Weakness of principles of Constitution ignites forces meant for disintegration only.

Islamists beat innocent Hindu youth mercilessly in Hooghly

On April 12, 2012, at 4.30 pm, Uttam Santra and Dilip Santra (cousin of Uttam), inhabiting village: Majher Aat, Panchayat: Kumirmara village, Chanditala No. 1 Block, P.S. Chanditala, District: Hooghly, became victims of ferocious attacks of local Islamists while they were in the field to tend cows. Making such a common incident (tending cows) as a pretext, Basir Sheikh (nick name Bulun), son of Islam Uddin Sheikh, tussled with them.

Uttam Santra defended in return. Later, to retaliate, a large number of Islamists gathered, entered the Hindu area forcefully and after seizing Uttam, beat him black and blue. The condition of Uttam is serious yet and as per doctors, had he not been admitted to Chanditala Hospital and then to Srirampur Sub-divisional Hospital promptly, prospects of his life would have been bleak.

The list of assailants includes: Osibar Sheikh (son of Islam Uddin Sheikh), Sheikh Mosiar Rehman (son of Sheikh Osiar Rehman), Hakim Sheikh Abdul (son of Rezzaq Sheikh Abdul), Sheikh Azgar Ali (son of Sabedali Sheikh) along with lots of others.  It has also come to the knowledge that Islamists of adjoining Bhagabatipur, Maniktala, Mollar Chak threatened to burn Hindus of Majher Aat village alive and molested Kanan Santra (wife of Uttam Santra).

Tension dominates the area, its vicinity and religious amity has become highly vulnerable.

Hindu housewife raped in Canning

Police fails to trace Islamist rapist

Two mounting dangers are being witnessed at the same instant; while on one hand Islamists are being conciliated (lavish financial gifts to Imams being the latest) at every single moment, Hindus are being persecuted throughout Bengal and ravishment of a young Hindu housewife in Canning, District: 24 Paraganas (South) on March 30, 2012, adds salt to the gaping wound.

Mrs. Daya Barman (age 20), Hindu housewife, lives with her husband Mr. Raj Kumar Barman (age 22), one daughter and son (newborn infant) at village: Bahir Bena (within the area of Dhalir Bati), P.S. Canning, District: 24 Paraganas (South).

On March 30, 2012, at 1.00 am, she was sleeping in the bed along with her children. Her husband, owing to scorching heat, was in the verandah and was asleep there as well. At that time, Sarafat Mandal, son of Sheikh Bahadur Mandal, entered the house sneakily, molested the Hindu housewife and then raped her.  While he was going out, Sarafat warned that there entire family would have dire consequences if the incident was leaked out.

Bemused Daya Barman could not answer him at that time. But it was not the end to Sarafat’s crime; he, after that episode, went to an adjoining Hindu house and tried to rape a young girl there.  However, desperate shouting of the girl prevented Sarafat’s nefarious approaches; finding no other way he escaped with a few jewelries and an amount of R.s 5000.

The clamor brought back consciousness into Daya; she burst into tears and informed her husband of the whole event.

Without wasting any more moment, Rajkumar along with family members of the neighboring house and neighbors, went to the local police station.

Police and administration, as usual, were found to be reluctant to these hapless Hindus initially. Nevertheless, their insistence made police think and act otherwise.  P.S. Canning registered a case (Case no. 1943 dtd. 30.03.2012) lastly.

This is not the end; had the police become active to nab the Islamist felon, Sarafat Mandal, without delay, situation would have improved definitely.  Btu what has been found (till now) is nothing other than a strange leniency and also indifference to the case among the police personnel.

All these have boosted family of Sarafat; his uncle has twice visited Rajkumar’s residence and has been intimidating and also forcing the Hindu family to revoke the formal complaint.

The couple is at a loss; they are running from pillar to post for justice.

It is alleged that Sarafat is in the same area even if the police has failed to trace him yet.

Hindus have to earn ability to observe Ram Navami

Unlike different areas across India, Bengal has its own and a unique way of celebrating Ram Navami. While thousands of people were found to perceive Kumari Puja at Adyapith, in Kolkata, to mark Ram Navami, hundreds of people assembled at Hotor, P.S. Hotor, Block: Mograhat, P.S. Mograhat, Dist: 24 Paraganas (South), to make out the observance of Ram Navami, under the auspices of Hindu Samhati. The Puja went on throughout the day while the meeting that earned the maximum crowd initiated at 4 pm, on April 1, 2012. The meeting was graced by the attendance of a number of valiant Hindu leaders in the podium including Prakash Das, Upananda Brahmachari, Shibapada Haldar, Haran Brahmachari, Animitra Chakraborty.

In the meeting, while Shibapada Babu emphasized the need for Hindus to get defiant, carry on the struggles against perennial adversaries of Hindus and also be proud of their ancient lineage, Haran Brahmachari justly explained the significance of Ram Navami in Hindu civilization from time immemorial and how it has become the perfect epitome of Hindu values, chivalry.

Upananda Brahmachari, noted Hindu journalist and activist, through his speech, explained how Ram Navami and its sanctified observance (through centuries) has become the cornerstone of Hindus down the ages. He also made it clear that mere observance of the same is not enough but Hindus shall have to imbibe and also abide by the (rare without doubt) attributes of Sri Ram Chandra (Maryaada Purushottam). Upanandaji also made people aware of the dangers Hindus are facing at the moment and how the Bengal administration remains busy to woo Islamists, sacrificing Hindu interests, all the time for personal gains.

It is the need of the hour for Hindus to comprehend the reality, the impending catastrophe, capable enough to unleash a complete hell, to them and that unified resistance to the same can save their skin and kith and kin only.

Hindus have got to observe Ram Navami from this time forth more. But before that they must have the basic ability (masculinity, valor and strength) to do it.
