Nemesis of Rudra

Photo: {{ Nemesis of Rudra }} [[ Please share this as maximum as you can, This will clear many doubts of you and other Hindus ]] a viewer asked via message: sir i have read geeta there is one situation ie. when our world is created at that time first of Vishnu is born vishnu gives birth to bhramha & bramha gives birth to Shiva.... I want to know how the Shiwa was born?because in vishnupuran says that vishnu gives birth to all of them ... Thank you for asking such a great question, there are three different stories in Shiva Puran and Vishnu Puran and Devi puran. You also keep in mind that neither Shiva is born nor Vishnu is born nor Brahma they all are manifestations of one Supreme Brahman. I am Sharing all with you: From Shiva Puran and Ling Puran :: At the beginning of creation, there was nothing in the universe. The universe was not there either. It was only the brahman (divine essence) which was everywhere. The brahman was neither hot nor cold, neither thick or thin. It had no beginning and no end. There was water everywhere. Lord Vishnu manifested himself in his great form and slept on the water. While Vishnu was sleeping, a lotus flower (padma) sprouted from his navel. It had many petals and its stem shone like a thousand suns. From the cells of the lotus Brahma was born. He began to wonder, There seems to be nothing around except for this lotus. Who am I? Where did I come from? What am I supposed to do? Whose son am I ? Who made me? Brahma thought he might find the answers to these questions if he explored the lotus a bit. Perhaps he ought to try and find the centre of the lotus. Brahma descended down the stem of the lotus and wandered around for a hundred years. But he could not find the flower’s centre. He then decided that he might as well go back to the cell from where he had been born. But despite wandering around the stem for another hundred years, Brahma could not find the cell. By then he was so tired that he gave up and rested. Suddenly he heard the words, Brahma, perform tapasya (meditation). Brahma meditated for twelve years. When the twelve years were over, the four-armed Vishnu appeared before Brahma. In the four hands Vishnu held a shankha (conch shell), a chakra (a bladed discus), a gada (mace) and a padma. Brahma didn’t know who this person was and he asked, Who are you? Vishnu didn’t directly answer the question. Instead, he replied, Son, the great Lord Vishnu has created you. Who are you to call me a son? demanded Brahma. Can’t you recognize me? came the reply. I am Vishnu. It is from my body that you have been created. But Brahma was not convinced. He began to fight with Vishnu. While they were thus engaged in fighting, a shining linga (Shiva’s image) arrived on the scene. It seemed to have no beginning or end. Vishnu said, Brahma, let us stop fighting. There is a third being here now. What on earth is this linga? And where did it come from? Let us try and find out what this is. You adopt the form of a swan (hamsa) and go up. I shall adopt the form of boar (varaha) and go down. Let us try and find the extremities of this linga. Brahma agreed. He became a whilte swan and flew up. Vishnu became a white boar and went down. They looked for four thousand years, but could not find the end of the linga. So they returned to where they had started off from and began to pray. They prayed for a hundred years. After the hundred years were over, the sound of om was heard and a being with five faces and ten arms appeared before them. This was Mahadeva or Shiva. Vishnu said, It is good that Brahma and I have been fighting. It is because of our fight that you arrived. Shiva replied, We are all three parts of the same entity and have been divided into three. Brahma is the creator. Vishnu is the preserver and I am the destroyer. There is another being named Rudra who will be born form my body, but Rudra and I are really one and the same. Let Brahma create now. Shiva disappeared and Brahma and Vishnu gave up their forms of a swan and a boar. Nemesis of Rudra From Vishnu Puran and Srimad Bhagwatam:: According to the Vishnu Purana, at the establishment of this kalpa Brahma required a child and meditated for one. At present, a child appeared on his lap and started crying. While asked by Brahma why he was crying, the child replied that it was because he did not have a name Brahma then named him Rudra, meaning “howler”. Though the child cried seven added times and was given seven more names. Shiva as a result has eight forms: Rudra, Sharva, Bhava, Ugra, Bhima, Pashupati, Ishana, and Mahadeva, which, according to the Shiva Purana, write to the earth, water, fire, wind, sky, a yogi called Kshetragya, the sun, and the moon respectively. Throughout the samudra manthan, when poison was churn out of the ocean, Shiva is said to have swallowed it to save the planet from destruction. Since he drank the poison, Parvati clasped his throat securely so that the poison was churned out of the ocean, Because of this, he is known as Neelkantha, the blue-necked one. From Devi Puran :: At the beginning of the universe, Lord Vishnu was sleeping on water. At that time a lotus came from his navel. When the lotus's petals opened, BrahmaDev was born. During his sleep, two Asuras were born from the ears of Lord Vishnu. There name was Madhu and Kaidabhan. They wondered. They didn't see anything in the universe. Water was everywhere. They had a doubt in mind "How did we born?", "Who created us?". They questioned each other. Suddenly, Devi Ma Sakti appeared in front of them. She asked them if they had any wish. They said that " We only want to die when we want to". Devi Sakti granted their wish and disappeared. They were anxious and curious to find out that there were no other in the universe of water to challenge them. While searching for someone above the water, a lotus came into their attention. Where did that came from? To find out where it's top situated, they started to climb upward to the peak of the lotus. They saw BrahmaDev on top of the lotus. To threaten him, they went closer to him. They tortured BrahmaDev in different ways. Frightened BrahmaDev escaped from the lotus and started to scream loud. At that moment, from the anxiousness and rage of BrahmaDev a incredible form was born. This form was believed to be Rudra. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- After reading all this question may be arised why there are different stories for the same Incident. First thing you should understand that there is only one Supreme i.e Brahman and all are the manifestations of same. There is only one God. So neither Shiva is Born nor Vishnu nor Brahma but all these are manifestations of one God. Many disbelieves in Holy Purans due to contradiction & conflicts. A particular katha/story from one puran might not match with the other purans which leaves a reason for doubt on its Authentication. Are these really some Contradictions or Corruption? As we discussed earlier how the Scriptures were been compiled by Bhagwan Sri VedVyas. Every katha mentioned in our scriptures has happened within this Universe (since 150 trillion years approximately or more). When ever we talk, our words/sound remains within this Cosmology & stays here until complete destruction takes place. Words are present within the cosmology & Radio can be the best example, we cant hear the words present in our cosmology however when we tune our device/radio we can hear those words present within this cosmology on our device like Radio, same way we got Bluetooth, wi-fi etc. Pictures, words are also within the cosmology & when we pair our Bluetooth we can send it from one device to another & can be seen on our Device. Great Yogi Sri Vedvyasji tuned his frequency with the Supreme & other divine deities & compiled many of these Scriptures & after Vedyvasji many other scriptures were been compiled like Geet Govind, Bhaktamaal, Ram Rasikawali, Tulsidasjis - Ramcharitramanas, Eknathajis Ramayan, etc. (These Scriptures were already present within the cosmology however from Shruti they were made to Smriti) --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Samudra Manthan katha can be found in many Purans & Eithas like Mahabharat - eighteenth section in the Astika Parva of the Adi Parva, The Vishnu Purana Chapter 9, Shrimad Bhagwatam, Valmiki Ramayan, Matsya Purana, Vayu Purana etc. After Devasur Sangram (Biggest Battle on this Universe) Theist & Atheist plans for churning the ocean, Sheer Sagar/Milk Ocean. Contradiction - One puran says 9 Ratnas came out form the Samudra, other says 10, other says 11 & this way other Puran says 14 Ratnas came out from the Samudra manthan so which one is true? "All PURANS ARE TRUE" 43,20,000 Earth years makes one Chaturyuga or mahayuga 43,20,000 x 1000 makes one Kalpa 43,20,000 x 2000 makes two kalpas 8,64,00,00,000 Earth years or 2 kalpas is One Brahmajis Day. In just one day of Sri Brahmaji there are 14 manus (First man after every Pralaya/destruction of 3 planets) so it proves there are Atleast 14 pralay/Destructions of only 3 planets in one Day of Brahmaji & in one day there are 14 manus, so just in one day of Sri Brahmaji there are so many incarnations of the Supreme. May be Sri Krishna appeared 14 times in one Brahmaji day or may be he came in every Chaturyuga. i.e 1000 times more or less as he says in Bhagwad Gita - "Yada Yada hi Dharmasya". Even if we calculate Sri Ram appeared 14 times in one day of Brahma the present life span of Brahmaji is 51 years & in that year we are in the Varha Kalpa, in Varaha kalpa we are in the 7th Manvantra which is Vivashwata Manu the Son of God Vivashwan (Suryadev). So how many times did Sri Ramji appeared or Sri Ramji would have appeared in 51 years of Brahmaji? 365 x 51 x 14 = 2,60,610 times more or less, so even if there are these many versions of Ramayan we shouldn't doubt any of them until it comes to us from the right source, from an Authorised Vedic Acharya whose work is been approved by Vedic Scholars, Acharyas, Pandits etc or by God himself. How to understand the acharya is been Authorised & Authentic? Eg. Tulsidasji after compilation of scripture, Bhagwan Vishwanath/Shiva signed his Scripture as an Authority, as Authentic. Eknathji while compiling his scripture Sri Ram, Sita, Laxman, Hanuman all were present. Geet Govind by Sri Jaidevji - Sri Jagganath Bhagwan said I am Jaidev himself. Nabhaji's Grant on Bhaktamaal - Every saints like Kabirji, Mirabai, Ambrish maharaj, Sabri mata appeared from the book & gave darshan to one Vaishya/Business men at the time of his death. When the words are present within the Cosmology the sages, rishis can compile billions of Version of any Purans, Eithas, Mahabharat etc & All are true because different incident took place in different Yugas or kalpas or manvantras, so the contradiction about 9 ratnas or 14 ratnas from Samudra manthan or any such contradiction are only due to the change of Manvantras or Kalpas & so the contradiction would definitely take place however such contradiction never proves the Scriptures are corrupted or been manipulated if been read under the guidance of our Spiritual master/Guru who comes from the cycle of Disciples whose roots leads to Bhagwan Narayan himself.
